Interested in selling your stuff???

Déjà Vu is a consignment store that sells a variety of gently used clothing, accessories, and home décor. Any in-store items sold are then paid on a 50-50 commission. We will do our best to earn as much money as possible for our consignors!  Since we are limited in space, we must be picky with what items we do take in, so please make sure that every item you bring in follows these rules, or they will not be accepted. If you are not sure if they meet the requirements, please feel free to ask!

Here is how it all works….Just Follow the Steps Below!!!

1. Go through your closets and pull out anything that meets the following requirements:

Juniors & Misses Clothing and Purses:

¨     Name Brands Only Please! These are some that are popular at our store: American Eagle, Abercrombie & Fitch, Old Navy, Gap, Hollister, Banana Republic, Express, etc. Basically, most mall brands! If in doubt just give us a call.

¨     Only newer, trendy styles purchased within the last 3 years from a first hand store.

¨     No holes, stains, tears, rips, broken zippers or missing buttons.

¨     No odors.  Clothing must be freshly laundered and from a smoke-free home.

¨     No excessive wear (faded colors, dingy or “balled” fabric).

¨     No vintage, antique or hand made clothing. 

¨     No t-shirts, undershirts, solid color tees (unless they have a unique neckline), sweat pants, bib over-alls, pants with an elastic waist line, pajamas, tapered leg jeans, high-waist jeans, colored jeans, anything with shoulder pads, undergarments, cut off shorts or special occasion dresses.

¨     Shoes must be in a new condition, with no visible wear.

¨     Bring seasonal clothing in during their respective seasons – see below

1.       Fall (August – September)

2.       Winter (October – January)

3.       Spring (February – April)

4.       Summer (May – July)

Children and Baby Clothing:

¨     Must meet all requirements above.

¨     Bring only 20 items per appointment.

¨     Clothing must be in a new condition.

¨     Name Brands Only Please!  Ex: Oshkosh, Gymboree, Old Navy, Gap, The Children’s Place, Carters, Limited too, Justice, etc.

¨     Outfits, Jeans, Tops or Sleepers; No Onesies, Plain Tees, or Cotton Pants (unless they are part of an outfit).

¨     Children and toddler toys must be interactive, and have working batteries in them.  No stuffed animals.  We will not take any toys that come with pieces. No puzzles or games, unless they are brand new with wrapping. (This is because the pieces end up all over the store).

Home Décor and Miscellaneous Items:

¨     No broken pieces, holes, stains, fading or missing pieces.

¨     No electronics or small appliances that do not have instructions and the packaging. Must be cleaned and in great condition.

¨     No video games, CDs, DVDs, computer software or books.

¨     Must be purchased from a first hand store within the past 3-5 years.

¨     No Antique or handmade pieces.

2. Set-up an Appointment by giving us a call… 608-882-1260!

     We unfortunately cannot accept walk-ins.

3. Bring your stuff in!  At your designated appointment time we will go through any specific pricing requests, have you sign our consignor agreement form and answer any additional questions you may have.  Pricing is at our discretion.

4. Watch your money pour in!  You get ½ of everything that sells!

Items are kept in the store for 7 weeks.  For the last week they are in the store the merchandise will be marked down to 50% off. We do this in an effort to return the maximum amount of cash to you, the consignor. At the end of the 7^th week the merchandise will be donated to a charitable organization.  If you choose not to have an item donated it is your responsibility to pick up the item before the end of the 7^th week. We do not keep an inventory of what is brought in, so if you are picking items up make sure you know what you brought in.  You will be responsible for going through the store to find your items. No items will be pulled and put on hold for you. Your money may be redeemed during regular business hours at the store; you will be paid by cash or check.

Proper care of all items will be given while in our possession. However, we accept NO responsibility for theft, fire, or damage of articles. We also accept NO responsibility for accident or injury caused by any item bought in our store.
